This makes it ideal for individuals wanting to take advantage of the neighborhood’s sidewalks and roads. Many of the streets are lined with mature trees adding to the ambiance of the neighborhood. Dana Estate Neighborhood Alliance
The Dana Estates Neighborhood Alliance (DENA) is a non-profit organization partnered with the City of Concord to promote a sense of community and well-being in Dana Estates. DENA is not a homeowners association and is funded by the generosity of neighbors in Dana Estates. DENA provides quarterly newsletters to the neighborhood, hosts dumpster days with the City of Concord, two neighborhood meetings a year, and the DENA Night Out in June.
Concord Naval Weapons Station
North and east of Dana Estates is the, as yet, undeveloped former Concord Naval Weapons Station. The 5,000 acres of undeveloped land provide for quiet evenings except for the cows, coyotes, and other wildlife that call the site home. The master plan for the naval weapons station include a green belt adjacent to Dana Estates and a large park and open space to be enjoyed by all of Concord’s residents.
